Dr. Jen (they/them)Â received their Ph.D. in Molecular, Cell, Developmental and Biochemical Biology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. They then served as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California at San Francisco from 2005-2010, and then as a postdoctoral fellow at Celgene Corporation from 2010-2013. They trained as a neurofeedback practitioner using the Othmer Method in 2014 and has been working with clients since. They recently (August, 2021) completed their master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands. They have been part of the counseling honor's society, Chi Sigma Iota, since 2020 and they became a National Certified Counseling [NCC] in January, 2022, and are now a Registered Associate with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists [OBLPCT].
Linden (they/them) received their master’s degree in Physical Geography from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2002. After a short stint as an environmental consultant, they switched to a 14-year career as an organic farmer. Upon moving to Oregon with their family, they became the stay-at-home parent until their youngest entered kindergarten this past fall. Now they are excitedly pursuing Neurofeedback as their final career move, having trained in 2021 in the Othmer method of Neurofeedback. Since then, they have been working directly under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Jen as a Neurofeedback practitioner.
